The Understated Black/Ocher Wool Tapete: woven on a hand operated standing loom by a family of master weavers in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca. 100% naturally dyed black and ocher wool fibers were used to weave this stunning piece. Measures 2.5 x 5.5 feet including fringe. A small ocher mark, two rows down/two rows across, adds a subtle detail to this simple beauty. Shown with the Understated Multi Grey/Ocher tapete–they make a good match. Due to the nature of the plant-based dyes used in weaving this tapete, variations will result in each one of a kind piece.
